I needed new lenses for my custom frames, went to see Dr Patel and she was able to get me sorted out and lenses ordered with no problem. Dr Patel was great, very informative and made me feel at ease. Highly recommend Dr Patel and will definitely be telling others!​​​​​​​

I scheduled an appointment with Dr Patel. She was awesome! She was super helpful and patient, and was able to answer all of my questions. The staff up front were great too and got me matched with my new frames and out the door very efficiently. I just picked up my new glasses yesterday and literally cried when I realized that I’m able to read things at distances I’ve never been able to read at. I will be back for all my future exams here.​​​​​​​

Yesterday was my first time going here and from the time I walked in until I left was an absolutely great experience! The girls who did my intake and eye exams were friendly and thorough. My eye doctor, Dr. Patel, was so friendly and one of the best eye doctors I ever had ! And I’ve been wearing glasses for over 37 years ! She even showed me what my eyes looked like after all the tests were done and explained everything . I have never had that done before.​​​​​​​

Much like how Benjamin Franklin took the concept of eyeglasses and ameliorated it with his invention of bifocals, Dr. Patel has elevated the idea of an optometry clinic—bringing the greater Cromwell community 4Eyes Optometry.

There was no wait, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The building and equipment were modern and clean. Dr. Patel explained everything clearly and went over my eye imaging at a pace I could actually follow.

The tech also helped me find glasses that fit my head—which was nice. I was going for more of a Walter White vibe, but she picked out something that actually looked even better. If you can believe that.

Anyway, yeah—check it out if you’re looking to get your eyes checked. There’s also a nice visible sign by the street so it’s hard to get lost. I hate when you’re looking for a place and it’s hidden in the back somewhere. No problem here. Easy to find. Highly recommend.​​​​​​​

This was my first time coming to 4 eyes. I hadn’t been to an eye doctor since 2017. Dr. Patel was amazing, so personable and was able to answer all my questions with ease. When I tried on new frames, I was given honesty on how they looked which is super important to me, especially since I was there by myself. Absolutely amazing! Dr. Patel saw my 7-year-old son and did such an amazing job. She made him feel so comfortable (it was his first eye exam ever). They have a great selection of glasses, the office is very clean and has nice, bright decor. I liked her and her staff so much that I ended up making an appointment with her for myself at the end of my son’s appointment, leaving my current eye place of 10 years. Highly recommend!
